The continuing popularity of retailers' customer reward scheme's has been confirmed in
Nottinghamshire, as Label Traders factory outlet in Sutton and Ruddington, announces it's 5,000th member in under 2
years.
Carole Krypczak of Skegby, near Mansfield, was the surprised 5,000th member last week, receiving a luxury box of chocolates and
a bottle of Champagne.
We wanted to mark the 5,000th member in some way", said Graham Fogelman, Chief Executive of Label Traders, "
this reward scheme was something of an experiment for us, and has proved an overwhelming success".
The Label Traders VIP Reward Scheme launched in March 2001, giving all members regular discounts- with special offers throughout
the year announced through direct mail.
"A current database of 5,000 loyal customers is proving one of our most valuable marketing tools" continued Graham,
"I take great pleasure in writing personally to all our customers whenever we are in a position to offer something extra
special!"
The marketing team at Label Traders regularly meet to discuss ways of rewarding the valued members with periodical free gifts
and a programme of extra discounts communicated through direct mail. However, simply giving things away isn't the only way to
encourage loyalty, as Graham explains..."Keeping our customers informed of new stock and changes and developments within
the Label Traders' chain, ensures that our customers really do feel a valued part of our team - and are therefore happy to keep
coming back to us."

Label Traders moved from their old store, which was sited in the three storey building
at the back of the Crystal Martin site, out on to the main road and nearer to you in June 2007.
